IMPORTANT : DATA REMOVAL
The hard drive on the ImageXpress is full. Chris and I will be clearing out old data ion Aug 18, 2017.
As the data is saved by lab name and not individual user, I am e-mailing you. Please circulate this email among your lab mates if you notice they are missing from the list.
Here is what you need to do:
1) Please store all new images to the Analysis workstation. The software will give you an error that you cannot save to this location BUT it will work. Just click "Acquire" as normal.
2) Back up your data. This can be done from both the IXM computer and the Analysis workstation. There are shortcuts on both desktops to both the storage locations (i.e. IXM computer or Analysis workstation.)
Please DO NOT interfere with the file structure in these folders.
Please DO NOT delete files from the folders, you may only copy and paste into your personal storage devices.
3) E-mail Chris AND I a list of plates that can be deleted from the database. We need to mark you plates for deletion and then delete them within separate pogrom in order to not corrupt the database.
Please do this above steps no later than August 17, 2017.
